Canon EOS R6 Mark II deal status right now
On November 2 the R6 Mark II body page at B&H still lists $1,999, in stock. That is the same price as last Black Friday. Our Canon guide, checked October 18, says this price has come back repeatedly since April. Canon has not announced its 2026 holiday dates. Last year’s event ran November 20 to December 1.
This already matches last Black Friday. A holiday rebate is unlikely to beat it by much. The newer R6 Mark III is still $2,799 with no rebate we can find.

Who should buy the R6 Mark II
Good fit
- You want one full-frame body for stills and video, and $1,999 is the budget.
- You want in-body stabilization and two card slots, which the cheaper R8 lacks.
- You were looking at the R6 Mark III and don’t need its 32.5MP sensor or 7K video.
Look elsewhere
- You want Canon’s newest hybrid. The R6 Mark III is $2,799 until a rebate appears.
- You want the lightest full-frame body and can live without stabilization. See the R8.
- You need 45MP. That’s the R5 Mark II.
