AMD Ryzen 5 9600X deal status right now
On November 6, 2026, Newegg listed the boxed Ryzen 5 9600X, model 100-100001405WOF, at $219, sold and shipped by Newegg. The same page showed $279 above that price, a $60 difference. A marketplace seller was $172. That is not the price. The page listed a limited power-supply offer. The processor box does not include a cooler.
$219 is already under the $279 figure on the Newegg page. It is still three weeks before Black Friday, and we do not have a 2025 holiday price for this model. The buy is a Newegg-sold price under $219 in the week of November 27.

Who should buy the Ryzen 5 9600X
Good fit
- A new AM5 gaming PC with a separate graphics card, once Newegg is under $219.
- You do not need 8 cores or the extra cache on the X3D chips.
Look elsewhere
- The $172 marketplace listing. Different seller.
- You want the highest frame rates at 1080p. That is the 9800X3D tracker, not this chip.

Ryzen 5 9600X Black Friday FAQ
Is $219 already the deal?
It is $60 under the $279 figure on the November 6 page. Black Friday is November 27, and we do not have last year’s low, so the call stays wait.
Why ignore the $172 listing?
That price was a marketplace seller on the same page, not Newegg. The return policy is different.
Does it include a cooler?
No. The spec table says a cooling device is not included. A limited power-supply offer on the page is not a cooler.
