AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D deal status right now
On November 6, 2026, Newegg listed the boxed Ryzen 7 9850X3D, model 100-100001973WOF, at $499, sold and shipped by Newegg. The same page listed a limited MSI MAG CoreLiquid 240mm cooler offer. That cooler is a bonus. It is not a reason to pay more than the older chip. A marketplace seller on the page was $483. We are not using that as the price.
The Ryzen 7 9800X3D was $479 at Newegg the same morning. On November 2 the 9850X3D was $484. The 9850X3D launched on January 29, 2026, so this is its first Black Friday. There is no 2025 holiday low to beat.
$499 is $20 more than the 9800X3D, for the same 8 cores and 96MB of L3. Buy the 9850X3D at $429 or less, the line we already use for the 9800X3D. Otherwise wait and buy whichever chip hits that line first.
