Canon EOS R50 deal status right now
B&H’s body page lists the black EOS R50 at $729, in stock. The page shows no crossed-out price. Our Canon guide says last year’s cuts on the cheapest bodies, including the R50, were roughly $80 to $150. We don’t have a verified R50 dollar from that sale, so we are not turning “roughly $80 to $150” into a target price. Canon’s current lens-with-body bonus, through November 1, includes the R50. That bonus is on the lens, not a lower body price.
$729 is the regular body price. Wait for a real rebate on the body. A lens bonus through November 1 does not make $729 last year’s holiday price.

Good fit

Look elsewhere
- You are counting the November 1 lens bonus as a body discount. It isn’t.
- You want a viewfinder-free video body with a fixed lens. Look at the PowerShot V1.
