Canon PowerShot V1 deal status right now
B&H’s product page lists the PowerShot V1 at $849, in stock. The PowerShot category shows that price under $1,029, a $180 cut, and a used camera at $797.95. A Video Creator Kit on the same category is $1,179, from $1,279. That kit adds a grip, a remote and a microphone. It is not a cheaper camera. The V1 launched in 2025, so this is its first Black Friday. We don’t have a 2025 holiday dollar to beat, and the product page itself does not show an end date for the $180 cut.
$849 is $180 under the category’s $1,029. That is a real cut, and it may go lower once Canon’s holiday prices land. Buy it this week only if you need the camera and the cart is the camera at $849, not the $1,179 creator kit.
What counts as a good PowerShot V1 price
- Under $849A holiday price below the current cut. This is the camera’s first Black Friday, so we are not promising one.
- $849 if you need it now$180 off the $1,029 on the category card. The product page lists $849 and in stock.
- $1,029, or the creator kit at $1,179Full category price, or a kit with a grip and a microphone. Used at $797.95 is only about $51 under the new camera.
B&H product page and PowerShot category, checked November 1, 2026. We did not open Adorama. Canon’s holiday window last year started around November 20. Nothing on the V1 page says this $180 cut ends on a date.

PowerShot V1 Black Friday FAQ
Is $849 the holiday price?
It is $180 under $1,029, and the camera has not had a Black Friday yet. Canon’s main holiday prices last year arrived around November 20. $849 may be the current sale, and it may not be the lowest price of the month.
Is the creator kit a better deal?
Only if you want the grip, remote and microphone. It is $1,179, from $1,279. The camera alone is $849.
V1 or R50?
The V1 has a built-in 16-50mm lens and is built around video. The R50 is $729 for the body and takes RF-S and RF lenses. They are different cameras.
