DJI Osmo Action 6 deal status right now
The Standard Combo is $436 at B&H, and the Adventure Combo is $536. B&H lists a free item worth about $27 with each, so compare that bundle with the other stores rather than the sticker alone. An Amazon price tracker shows the Standard Combo at $436 in its October 13, 2026 check, and that tracker has logged $436 as the high since March 15, 2026. DJI has not announced a 2026 holiday sale.
The same tracker’s lowest Standard price is $379 on November 18, 2025, down from $406 the day before. That was the day DJI announced the global release. A deal roundup dated DJI’s 2025 store sale from November 17 to December 2 and did not include the Action 6 among the discounts it confirmed on the first day. We don’t have a day-by-day log for the rest of that sale, so $379 is the recorded low, not a price we can show held for two weeks.
$436 is the top of the tracked range, not a holiday price. $399 would be a real cut, under the tracker’s average of about $411. $379 matches the only low on record. Buy at $436 only if you need the camera before mid-November.

Standard, Adventure or Essential?
DJI’s launch announcement lists the Standard Combo as the camera, one 1,950 mAh battery, a quick-release adapter mount, a curved adhesive base, a locking screw, a USB-C cable and an anti-slip pad. The Adventure Combo adds two more batteries, another mount and screw, a multifunctional battery case and a 1.5 m extension rod. At B&H that extra kit is $100, the same gap as the €379 and €479 launch prices.
Amazon’s listing describes the Essential Combo as the Standard Combo without the curved adhesive base. A tracker showed it at $426 on October 12, 2026, and at $369 on November 18, 2025. If today’s Essential price is only about $10 under Standard, the adhesive base is worth keeping. Check the live listing, because that $426 figure is from October 12.
Who should buy the Osmo Action 6
Good fit
- You want a variable aperture. f/2.0 to f/4.0 is the Action 6’s real difference from the Action 5 Pro, which is a fixed f/2.8.
- You shoot in the water. 20 m without a case covers snorkeling and surf. Use the case for deeper or rougher water.
- You need both vertical and horizontal from one take. The square sensor feeds 16:9, 9:16, 4:3 and a 1:1 4K mode.
- You shoot in the cold. DJI rates it down to −20°C.
- You already own DJI mics. Two transmitters connect without a receiver.
Look elsewhere
- You want subject tracking in 4K. DJI’s spec sheet stops it at 2.7K/60.
- You’re buying it for the “4-hour battery.” That rating is 1080p/24 with the screen off.
- You need 8K slow motion, or easy 8K edits on an older phone. 8K is 30 fps, 16:9 only, and DJI Mimo’s 8K download and edit is listed for iPhone 15 Pro and later.
- The Action 5 Pro at $319 does the job. You give up the variable aperture and 8K video.
- You’re waiting on an Action 7. DJI has not announced one. See the note below.
Is an Osmo Action 7 coming?
DJI has not announced an Osmo Action 7. One rumor site, writing on October 22, 2026, said a Japanese blog guessed an announcement before November 11 and passed along an unsourced price range. That is one site’s guess. The Action 6 is still the current model, and B&H has it in stock. Don’t skip a $399 holiday price for a camera that doesn’t exist yet. If DJI does announce a successor, we’ll update this page.

- B&H: Standard Combo $436 and Adventure Combo $536 on October 28, both in stock, each with a free item of about $27. Authorized dealer. Online checkout closes for Shabbat from Friday evening to Saturday night, including Black Friday, so order before Friday evening or after it reopens.
- Amazon: the Standard tracker’s October 13 check was $436, and its low is $379 on November 18, 2025. Confirm the seller is Amazon.com or DJI before you buy. The Essential Combo is the one to skip if it’s only about $10 less.
- Adorama and Best Buy: both are in the buttons above. A retail log showed Best Buy at $436 on August 9, 2026, so treat that as a past check, not today’s price.
- Newegg: the same August 9 log showed $400 and $436 at once. Open the listing and see who sells the $400 one.
- DJI’s own store: the November 2025 global announcement, as reported by The Verge, did not include the US. Last year’s DJI sale, dated November 17 to December 2 by one roundup, ran on store.dji.com and did not list this camera in the deals confirmed on day one. If a 2026 sale appears only on DJI’s store, a US buyer may still be shopping at B&H and Amazon.
DJI Osmo Action 6 Black Friday FAQ
Will the Osmo Action 6 go on sale for Black Friday 2026?
DJI hasn’t announced it. Last year’s store sale ran November 17 to December 2, and a roundup of the deals confirmed on the first day did not include the Action 6, which was announced the next day. The price to beat is $379. We’d buy at $399 or less and skip $436.
Was $379 last year’s Black Friday price?
It’s the lowest Standard Combo price an Amazon tracker records, on November 18, 2025, the announcement day and the second day of DJI’s sale. We can’t show that it stayed at $379 through December 2. It’s the number to aim for, not a two-week sale price we’ve documented.
Standard or Adventure Combo?
Adventure costs $100 more at B&H and, per DJI’s launch list, adds two batteries, a battery case and a 1.5 m extension rod. Buy it if you’ll use the extra batteries. The camera is the same.
Is the battery life really four hours?
Only under DJI’s test: 1080p/24, 25°C, screen off, Wi-Fi off. Expect less at 4K or 8K with the screen on.
Action 6 or Action 5 Pro?
The Action 5 Pro Standard Combo is $319 at B&H, $117 less. Buy the Action 6 if you want the variable aperture or 8K. Buy the Action 5 Pro if you shoot in daylight and 4K is enough.
Should I wait for an Action 7?
No. DJI has not announced one. A rumor posted in October is not a release date. The Action 6 is in stock.
