AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D deal status right now
On November 6, 2026, the Newegg page for the boxed Ryzen 9 9950X3D, model 100-100000719WOF, listed $624 under a $699 figure. The page says Backordered. Sold by Newegg is the price we are using. A marketplace seller on the same page was also $624. On November 2 the Newegg-sold price was $699, with no crossed-out price. The page also listed a limited MSI MAG CoreLiquid 240mm cooler offer. The cooler is a bonus, and the box itself does not include one.
The same morning, Newegg had the Ryzen 7 9800X3D at $479. The 9950X3D has 16 cores. The 9800X3D has 8.
$624 is under $699, but the page is backordered. For gaming only, the 9800X3D at $479 is the chip to watch. Buy the 9950X3D from Newegg itself, in stock, only if you will use the extra cores.

Ryzen 9 9950X3D Black Friday FAQ
Is $624 a sale?
The November 6 page lists $624 under a $699 figure, and it says Backordered. A marketplace seller at the same dollar is not a second price.
Is the power draw 120W or 170W?
The title and the spec table say 170W. Another table on that page says 120W. Plan the cooler for 170W until AMD’s own spec page says otherwise. We used the spec table.
Does the free cooler make it a buy?
No. The page listed a limited 240mm cooler. A cooler is not an extra eight cores, and a backorder is not a holiday price.
