Insta360 X5 deal status right now
B&H lists the X5 camera at $549.99, in stock. That is the price Insta360 announced on April 22, 2025. The Essentials Bundle, with an invisible selfie stick, an extra battery and a fast-charging case, is $659.99 on the same category page. Our Luna Ultra page says Insta360’s US sale from November 13 to December 7, 2025 took about 15% off the X5, the Ace Pro 2 and the GO Ultra. Insta360 hasn’t announced a 2026 sale.
Fifteen percent off the $549.99 launch price is about $467. $549.99 is what it cost on day one. The Essentials Bundle at $659.99 is not a discount on the camera.

Who should buy the X5
Good fit
- You want a 360 camera and you’ll wait for about 15% off, or you’ve decided launch price is fine.
- You already edit in Insta360’s app.
Look elsewhere
- You want a normal action camera, not a 360 camera. The Action 5 Pro is $319.
- You want Insta360’s newer pocket camera. See the Luna Ultra tracker.
- $659.99 for the Essentials Bundle is the only “deal” you can find. That bundle costs more than the camera.
