Fujifilm X-T30 III deal status right now
There is no US discount on the X-T30 III. B&H and Amazon both sell the body at $999, and B&H sells the kit with the XC 13-33mm lens at $1,149. Those are Fujifilm’s launch prices, and we can’t find a US rebate on this camera since it went on sale in November 2025. We haven’t seen Fujifilm USA announce holiday offers yet. Its current offers cover other cameras: the X-T5 with the XF 16-50mm lens (until November 1) and the X half.
Last year’s Black Friday offers from Fujifilm USA were small. They took $100 off the X-T5, X-T50 and X-S20, and the X-M5 wasn’t included. The X-T30 III wasn’t on the list either.
A realistic best case is a $100 rebate, which would put the body at $899 and the kit at $1,049. The risk of waiting is stock. When we checked this week, B&H listed the Charcoal Silver body as temporarily out of stock with a 7 to 14 business day estimate, and two of the three kit colors were out. If you want one for the holidays, buy when your color is in stock, and take the $1,149 kit if you need a lens.
What counts as a good X-T30 III price
- $899 bodyOr $1,049 for the kit. This would be the first rebate on the camera. Buy without hesitating.
- $999 bodyOr $1,149 for the kit. The launch price, unchanged since. Fair, and a good deal if your color is in stock.
- Above $999Skip any body above $999 or kit above $1,149. Amazon’s kit listing has ranged from $1,149 to well over $1,500 in price trackers.
If Fujifilm runs a rebate, it will be an instant saving that’s the same at every authorized dealer. Choose the store by stock and bundles. Last year Adorama bundled free accessories with some Fujifilm bodies on top of Fujifilm’s $100 rebate.

Body, 13-33mm kit or 23mm kit?
The XC 13-33mm f/3.5-6.3 OIS is a stabilized zoom that’s unusually wide, equivalent to 20-50mm on full frame. That suits people coming from a phone. The camera has no in-body stabilization, so a stabilized lens helps for video and low light. DPReview did note visible shutter shock with this lens at some shutter speeds.
B&H also sells a kit with the XF 23mm f/2.8 R WR at $1,498. That lens is weather resistant and gives a 35mm-equivalent view, but it costs $499 more than the body.
Who should buy the X-T30 III
Good fit
- Stills-first beginners and phone upgraders who want a small camera with real dials.
- JPEG shooters who want film looks straight out of the camera. The film simulation dial and recipes are the point of this camera.
- Travelers who want something light: 378 g, and the kit zoom collapses.
- Anyone who wants access to Fujifilm’s large X-mount lens range.
Look elsewhere
- Video and vlogging. There’s no in-body stabilization, no headphone jack and a tilting rather than fully articulating screen. The X-S20 is the better video body.
- Fast action. DPReview found its tracking autofocus less dependable than rivals’, and rated the Nikon Z50II’s autofocus better.
- Bad weather. It has no weather sealing.
- The tightest budget. The Canon EOS R50 costs about $270 less.
If you shoot RAW, the film simulation dial won’t change your files: RAW images import unchanged, and the dial only affects JPEGs and video. Reviewers also found the small body crowded with easily bumped controls, and Tom’s Guide disliked the placement of the Q button.
Alternatives to compare
Fujifilm X-S20
Better for video$1,499, or $500 more. It adds 5-axis in-body stabilization, a fully articulating screen and headphone and microphone jacks. Image quality and autofocus are about the same. Fujifilm took $100 off it last Black Friday.
Fujifilm X-M5
$100 less$899, with the same 26.1MP sensor and processor in a smaller body. It has no viewfinder and leans toward video, with vlogging-friendly features.
Canon EOS R50
Cheapest optionAbout $729 at B&H. It has 24.2MP, is rated for 440 shots and is easy to use, but Tom’s Guide said it feels the cheapest of the group. Canon’s entry bodies got small cuts last Black Friday. See our Canon deals guide.
Nikon Z50 II
Better autofocusAbout $1,007. DPReview found its autofocus better than the X-T30 III’s, and it has standard microphone and headphone jacks. The sensor is a lower-resolution 20.9MP, and Nikon’s APS-C lens range is smaller. See our Nikon Black Friday guide.
Retailer tips for buying the X-T30 III
- B&H: the body is $999 and the kit is $1,149. Check color availability, since Charcoal Silver was the one out of stock. Online checkout closes for Shabbat from Friday evening to Saturday night, including Black Friday, so order before Friday evening.
- Amazon: buy only when the listing is shipped and sold by Amazon.com. The kit listing has swung between $1,149 and well over $1,500 in price trackers, so check the seller before you pay.
- Adorama: last year it added free accessories to some Fujifilm body deals. If a rebate does arrive, compare Adorama’s bundle against a plain price cut.
- Best Buy: useful for store pickup if you need it by a date. Check the kit is in stock before you rely on it.
Fujifilm X-T30 III Black Friday FAQ
Will the Fujifilm X-T30 III go on sale for Black Friday 2026?
Possibly, but there’s no sign of it yet. We can’t find a US discount on it since launch, and we haven’t seen Fujifilm USA publish 2026 holiday offers. Last year its holiday rebates started on November 20, about a week before Black Friday, and took $100 off the X-T5, X-T50 and X-S20 bodies and kits. If the X-T30 III joins, $100 is the likely size.
What did the X-T30 III cost at launch?
$999.95 for the body and $1,149.95 with the XC 13-33mm kit. Fujifilm raised US camera prices by 10 to 15 percent on August 1, 2025, and the X-T30 II went from $899 to $999. The X-T30 III launched at that new price.
X-T30 III or X-M5: which should I buy?
They share a sensor and processor. The X-T30 III has a viewfinder and more physical controls, and it costs $100 more. The X-M5 is smaller, has no viewfinder and leans toward video. Pick by whether you want a viewfinder.
X-T30 III or X-S20?
For photos they’re close. The X-S20 costs $500 more and adds in-body stabilization, a fully articulating screen and a headphone jack, so it suits video. The X-T30 III is smaller and has the film simulation dial.
Is the X-T30 III good for video?
The specs are strong: 6.2K/30p, 4K/60p and 1080/240p. The rest of the camera is built for stills. It has no in-body stabilization, no headphone jack and a tilting screen, so for video the X-S20 is the better choice.
Is the X-T30 III weather sealed?
No. A weather-resistant (WR) lens helps in light rain, but treat the body as unsealed.
