Canon EOS R5 Mark II deal status right now
Canon’s current US offer takes $300 off the body, from a regular price of $4,399 down to $4,099. It runs from October 12 to November 1, 2026, at Canon’s own store and at authorized dealers including B&H and Adorama.
That is a real discount, but not the best one we’ve seen. Last year Canon cut the body to $3,899 on November 3, 2025, and that was the Black Friday price at the major dealers. Through 2026 the price has moved between $3,899 and $4,099 with each new promotion. The lowest authorized-dealer price on record is $3,699, which B&H offered briefly in June 2026.
The $4,099 offer ends November 1. Canon’s US pricing on this body has usually changed at the start of a month, and in 2025 the Black Friday price arrived on the first Monday of November. Unless you need the camera this week, wait for the November promotion.
What counts as a good Black Friday price
- $4,099The current October offer. A fair price if you need the camera now, but $200 above last year’s Black Friday price.
- $3,899Matches Black Friday 2025 and several 2026 promotions. A solid Black Friday deal.
- $3,699 or lessMatches the lowest authorized-dealer price on record. Buy without hesitating.
Because the discount is Canon’s instant savings, the body costs the same at every authorized dealer while a promotion runs. Choose the store by what else you get: bundled cards or batteries, gift-card offers, or a longer holiday return window.

Body only or the RF 24-105mm f/4L kit?
Canon sells the R5 Mark II body alone or as a kit with the RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM. If you don’t already have an RF standard zoom, compare the kit price with the body’s price during the same promotion. The gap is what you’re paying for the lens. The kit and the body don’t always get the same discount, so check both on Black Friday.
Who should buy the R5 Mark II this Black Friday
Good fit
- Wildlife, sports and event photographers who want 45MP and 30 fps in one body.
- Filmmakers who want internal 8K60 RAW and 4K120 without an external recorder.
- Owners of the original EOS R5 who want the stacked sensor, Eye Control AF and the R3’s viewfinder.
Look elsewhere
- You shoot mostly portraits or landscapes and rarely need speed. A 33MP body costs far less and you’ll hardly miss the difference.
- You don’t plan to shoot 8K and won’t buy CFexpress cards. Much of the price premium pays for video and speed you won’t use.
- You can only buy at the current $4,099. If you can wait, last year’s price was $200 lower.

Canon EOS R5 Mark II Black Friday FAQ
What was the Canon EOS R5 Mark II’s Black Friday 2025 price?
$3,899 for the body. Canon and the major authorized dealers, including B&H and Adorama, dropped to that price on November 3–4, 2025.
What is the lowest price the R5 Mark II has sold for?
The lowest authorized-dealer price on record is $3,699, at B&H in mid-June 2026. It lasted two days before returning to $3,899.
Why is the regular price $4,399 when it launched at $4,299?
Canon raised the US regular price after launch. Promotions are now discounted from $4,399, so “$500 off” in 2026 is the same price as “$400 off” against the original launch price.
Is the current $4,099 deal worth taking?
Only if you need the camera before November. The offer ends November 1, and last year’s November price was $200 lower.
Is the R5 Mark II cheaper on Cyber Monday than Black Friday?
Usually not. Canon’s instant savings normally cover the whole Thanksgiving-to-Cyber-Monday period, so the body price is the same on both days. What changes is bundles and stock.
