Panasonic Lumix S5 IIX deal status right now
B&H’s product page lists the S5 IIX body at $1,797.99, in stock. Trackalacker recorded that same B&H price on November 1, 2026, and $2,197.99 on October 25. The $1,797.99 price also shows up in that tracker’s 2026 history on May 24, May 31 and October 6, with $2,197.99 in between. So this is a recurring sale price, not a new holiday cut. A search snippet lists the 20-60mm kit at $1,997.99. We couldn’t verify a US Black Friday 2025 price. UK store prices are not US prices. Panasonic hasn’t posted a 2026 holiday date we can cite.
$1,797.99 is $400 under the October 25 price, and B&H has used this dollar several times in 2026. It is a fair authorized price if you need the camera this week. It is not a Black Friday low we can prove. Wait if you can.
What counts as a good S5 IIX price
- Under $1,797.99, in stock, body onlyA price below the recurring 2026 sale. We don’t have a verified 2025 US holiday dollar, so we are not naming one.
- $1,797.99 if you need it nowThe November 1 body price, and a price B&H has charged in May and October too. Buy only if waiting costs you a job.
- $2,197.99, or a kit you didn’t mean to buyThat was the October 25 body price. The 20-60mm kit at $1,997.99 is a lens kit, not a cheaper body.
B&H product page and a LUMIX S5 IIX search, plus Trackalacker’s B&H history, checked November 1, 2026. One search card listed used bodies from $1,933.95, which is above the new body. An older note of a used body at $1,617.95 was not on the pages we opened this time, so we are not using it. We did not open Adorama.

S5 IIX Black Friday FAQ
Is $1,797.99 the lowest it has been?
No. Trackalacker shows $1,797.99 on May 24, May 31, October 6 and November 1, 2026, with $2,197.99 in between. We couldn’t verify the US Black Friday 2025 price, so we can’t call this a record.
Should I buy the 20-60mm kit instead?
Only if you want that lens. A search snippet lists the kit at $1,997.99. That is $200 more than the body, not a discount on the body.
S5 II or S5 IIX?
They share a 24.2MP sensor class. The S5 IIX is the video body and costs more at the prices we checked. If you mostly shoot photos, wait for the S5 II. Both are on the Panasonic guide.
